I’ve been using Instagram since 2010. Originally, this account started as a place to share my personal journey as a photographer and human being.

Overtime, it’s become a platform to share my work, to find an audience/clients/community, and at times a place to express a more vulnerable side of me.

Some of you watched me evolve as an artist, witnessed me become a mother, and in recent years, when I went into treatment for breast cancer and slowly trying to find my footing again in a rapidly changing creative industry and planet.

There are so many versions of my heart that I’ve shown on here and no matter the successes and failures, one thing hasn’t changed - I still love photography and love being a witness to all the stories that have taught me to be a better human.

If you’re new here or have recently worked with me - thank you for accepting me. I may not show up on here as regularly as the algorithm would like me to, but on the other side - there’s a really appreciative human being who does what she does cause it brings joy. Simultaneously, I’m just so grateful that it provides all the things my family needs.

My hope is as the value of human labor changes, I hope we start to remember why it’s so important to value artists, creators, workers, and engage with content that brings joy, that grounds us and helps us REMEMBER why we’re even here.

Photography is remembering. It’s a reminder of what really matters, it’s about being in awe of ourselves, and looking, searching, preserving magic all around us.
It’s a dance between the spectator and the dancer (aka you!) and I’m so grateful. ✨

I’m not really looking to be the next super star influencer/photographer - just a human that wants a peaceful life, do good work and hope that whatever time I have on this planet makes someone smile.

New ceremony venue alert! 🚨 Old City Hall, Toronto

From the marble walls, the vintage spiralling stairs and little light leaks through stained glass - I’m so excited to photograph at this beautiful, historical space.

For the quiet lovers, the kisses in dim corners, the intimate conversation with a friend that feels like home no matter how much time has passed, the care that goes into meal before it served, the gentle smiles of content, and sighs of emotion when those feelings can’t be held inside….

These moments always soften my heart and reminds me why photographing human stories feel so special. I’m so grateful to witness the best parts of what it means to love.

We did a thing with my girl for her 40th bday. It always hits different when I have the honor to photograph friends in whatever milestone they find themselves.

This woman has seen all versions of me including all my seasons of being an artist and I’m so grateful she trusted my vision for this shoot. Everything came together so beautifully and I was so lucky to have my best friend @jmoonmedia also capture some beautiful video stills.

The whole session felt like play and if you know me, playfulness, humour, and a touch of romanticism is the kind of energy I like to bring for every client.

To anyone considering doing a self love shoot, who wants to feel sexy, and feel the rush of doing something like this, don’t wait - just do it. Unfortunately, most people are constantly waiting for the perfect moment we’re going to feel “perfect” enough for photos and for me - who’s almost halfway through her life, that moment never really comes. Present me is rolling her eyes thinking about the self-deprecating thoughts I had about my body at 25, 35 years old. Looking back, all seasons of me were perfect. So do the shoot, wear the sexy dress, and maybe book the photographer of your dreams to feel the rush of something special.
